Lately I have been prompted to start writing again… but, I find myself wondering what I should write about?
True, I do have a lifestyle blog about purposefully old-fashioned living, travel and life in an RV…
But are people really interested in reading about it?
It seems that gone are the days of leisurely sitting down and reading something… anything…
Rather, we are inundated with videos of this subject and that… of people wanting their time in the spotlight…
I get it! They have something they want to share with the world!
However, too many times, I find that I am stuck watching a 30 minute video on a particular subject, only to find that what I really wanted to hear about was in the last 5 minutes of said video!
I can’t get that time back!
I lost track of how many times I’ve sat down to watch video after video of something that I might be interested in, only to find they lost my attention after 5 minutes of them droning on and on about something that had nothing to do with the subject I was interested in learning about!
With reading what someone has to say on any particular subject, I can skim over the ‘boring bits’ to find the true ‘meat and potatoes’ of whatever subject it is that I am truly interested in!
Am I the only person who feels this way?
I truly am curious to know!
Either way, I am going to start writing again.
Maybe you will be interested in what I have to say. Maybe you won’t!
